Trusted Companion Care Services Since 2007

Who We Are

Joyful Companions is a faith-based, family-owned local in-home care company in Minneapolis. Jeri and Lindsay’s vision is to build a legacy of care and compassion, enriching the lives of others in need. As social workers, their goal is to provide peace of mind to family members. We believe in honoring those we serve by providing excellent personalized service. Joyful Companions Home Care is built on bringing joy, safety, and companionship to the lives of older adults. Our faith in God is the foundation of our care services and we are committed to serving those who serve alongside us, our caregivers. Since 2007, our owner Jeri Gort has proudly carried on the vision of her father, who started Caring Companions Home Care by Service Master in 1997 ( one of the first non-medical companion care companies at the time).

Quality Companion Care: Past, Present, & Future

At Joyful Companions, we understand how important it is that our clients receive top-quality in-home care tailored to their specific situations and needs. By considering age, lifestyle choices, medical history, and personal preferences, we provide personalized care that allows our clients to live their lives with dignity and respect.

Since 2007, we’ve been striving to offer a secure environment where seniors can feel safe and loved while receiving the best care. With love, grace, and expertise at its core, our in-home caregiving services will comfort families, knowing their loved ones are in good hands.

Our commitment to outstanding companion care is demonstrated by our past, performed in our present, and shapes the future of our company.

Past

For over 15 years, our mission has been to help our clients remain independent for as long as possible while preserving quality of life through high-level expert care.

We’ve even set out to make a difference in the lives of people who are not as fortunate to have the resources we do here in America, as proven by our partnership with Kids Alive International – Peru.

In 2007, we committed to sending proceeds to a home center down in the remote Andes Mountains town of Andahuaylas, Peru to impact the lives of children and abandoned women in the poorest region of the country.

Today, our contributions and collaborations with other non-profit companies help shelter children and families and provide nutritious food, clothing, education, and basic job skill training. This maintains our sense of purpose to continue trying to make a difference in the lives of people worldwide.

Present

Now 15 years later, our client network and caregiving team continue to expand and evolve. We continue to work hard and improve people’s wellness and quality of life at any stage of their life.

By implementing our Christian values into our work, we’re proud to have built a company that’s committed to bringing joy, safety, and companionship to the lives of older adults or anybody living with a life-altering illness or health condition.

Future

The relationships we’ve built with each and every one of our clients continue to motivate us as we move forward into the future.

At Joyful Companions, our goal isn’t just to provide exceptional caregiving services; Our mission is to build long-lasting relationships that help our clients flourish and live their best lives for many years to come!
